At Kankakee Pool

During the summer, the Club's swimming pool is alive with activity! Along with the pool and small children’s wading area, the pool area has men and women’s locker rooms for quick storage and shower facilities. The poolside Snack Shop features a full dining area with two ordering windows, a member favorite for a quick lunch or early dinner. 

The pool area in the summer is a popular place to host birthday parties and private pool parties. As a member, your children are able to participate in swim lessons for all different levels, and any Club sponsored pool parties.

The pool will open as scheduled unless the temperature is less than 72 degrees.
The pool will be cleared at the first sound of thunder or lightening and will re-open 30 minutes after the last sighting.

Pool Rules & Regulations

  1. An adult or proper guardian who is 16 years or older must accompany children 14 years of age or younger. Stay on the pool deck to provide supervision.

  2. Flotation devices of any type are not permitted in the deep end of the pool.

  3. Everyone must change in the locker rooms.

  4. Glass, food, gum or candies are not permitted in the fenced area of the pool deck.

  5. The pool office is for staff use only.

  6. Anyone using the diving board or blocks must be able to swim without assistance. No floatation devices permitted. Please read and follow the rules posted for safe diving board use. Loss of diving privileges may occur if rules are not followed.

  7. Diving is not permitted in the shallow end of the pool.

  8. The Pool Manager, Club Manager and lifeguards always have complete authority over the pool.

  9. Non-potty-trained children must wear a Little Swimmer diapers. Please discard diapers in a provided container. DO NOT PUT DIAPERS IN TRASH BINS!

  10. Expectorating or blowing of the nose is not permitted in the pool, gutters or on the pool deck.

  11. Persons with fever, cold, skin rash, open wounds or bandages are not permitted in the pool area.

  12. Guest fees are $7.00 per guest, per day or $21.00 per guest for a consecutive week and must be accompanied by a member. Please remember to sign in guests on each visit.

  13. Lifeguards on duty cannot be hired to baby sit.
